Are You Planning to Visit Himachal Pradesh Around 16th APRIL 2021 Onwards Then You Must Read This.

Himachal Pradesh generally experiences a good footfall of tourists during the summer season starting from 15th April onwards up to mid-July.

Then what's is that which is worrying the State Government? It's the rising cases of Covid-19 across the country and the entry of Covid-19 affected people as tourists to the hill state.

Government is in fix to mill the revenue generated during the tourist season or protect their state from the Covid-19 effect. It is a typical choice to make for a state which relies upon tourism to a great extent.

However, to curb the sharp surge in the Covid-19 cases in the state of Himachal Pradesh, CM Jairam Thakur (on 11 Apr 21) said that an advisory would be issued that the people of the following states need to carry out RT-PCR negative report while visiting Himachal Pardesh-

Punjab

Delhi

Maharashtra

Gujrat

Karnataka

Rajasthan

& Utterpradesh

This advisory would be applicable from 16 April  21 onwards.

Tourists planning to visit Himachal Pradesh are advised to comply with the same to have a hassle-free trip.

Tourists may be required to produce their RT-PCR while entering the states, checkpoints within the state & later at the hotel/homestays.

Daafi House - An Offbeat Place to Stay close to Shimla

Realizing the fact that Shimla is already crowded, Hotels & Resorts are finding more hills around Shimla to house their hospitality projects. This idea is sure to get the tourists flooded in these areas. One such place is Theog which is now known as a mountain village, chosen by Taj for their premier property. Now Club Mahindra has also found a place near Taj. I was close to the Taj location for one of our project-setting-up when I encountered this property which is my prime focus in this article. The property signboard read - Daafi. The Architecture was captivating & could not resist requesting the manager to allow me to go around and take pictures. The property has Vernacular Architecture looks- high stone walls and lined with wooden spars. I even noticed the spars extruding out of walls to provide the real Vernacular Architecture looks. Kudos to the Architect & Owner, who hail from Himachal itself,  for finalizing such a design. More than the architect it's the owner

I always feel the traveler has to be whimsical. The moment thought comes to your mind, pick up your vehicle, gather companions, and get-set-go !! My family demanded an outing, and I thought let's go for a drive. While taking the car out from the parking lot, I asked my wife," Which way, right or left ?".Well, we headed towards a left-way to Kufri, Narkanda, Rampur, Sarahan. The destination set was Sarahan, Bhimakali temple. On the way, we passed through Kufri, Kaithu, Theog, Narkanda, Kumarsain.  Somewhere near Theog By the time we reached Kumarsain, it was late afternoon and we were famished. We didn't get any decent place en route. HP Tourism restaurant at Narkanda was blocked due to snowfall, and we didn't want to climb the curled knolls formed by the snow cutter.  Lucky us, we got " Happy Bhojnalya " near Kumasain. I could spot a ladder to reach the terrace of the restaurant. I decided to request the owner to set our lunch on the terrace which he agr
